Client FAQ's

  • There are several ways that you can obtain copies of your tax documents. Custodians will mail tax documents to you if you have elected to receive paper copies.
They will also be available for you to download from your custodial logins:
    Fidelity Login
    Schwab Alliance Login
    American Funds Login

Additionally, for certain tax documents, you can login to your Client Portal through our website: eq-wealth.com and find your downloadable tax statements in the Document Vault. These are pulled directly from the custodian and kept secure under your login.

If you are unable to download your tax documents and have not received a copy in the mail, you can also call our office at 517-324-1266 or email Denton@Eq-Wealth.com and she can help get you or your CPA copies of any available tax documents.

    Deadlines for Tax Documents:
    1099-R – January 31 (Retirement accounts)
Consolidated 1099 – Custodians start mailing February 15 (Non-retirement accounts)
    5498 – June 1

  • When we moved to NewEdge in 2025, the Client Portal through our website: eq-wealth.com was updated with new features for all of our clients. Because of this change each client will need a new username and will be required to establish a new password.

To login to the new Client Portal, please call the office at 517-324-1266 or email info@Eq-Wealth.com and we will assign you a new username and walk you through setting up your password. We are also happy to provide a short tutorial for navigating the new Client Portal.

  • Please feel free to vote as you see fit. We are not able to recommend how you should vote. Typically, the materials that you receive have information about voting considerations and procedures. There is likely even more information online. Additionally, you can login to your custodial account and opt out of receiving proxy voting materials by mail by selecting the paperless option:
    Fidelity Login
    Schwab Alliance Login

If you do not want to vote, you can disregard the calls and mail.
